Das Projekt “GIPST” hat drei Schwerpunkte /
The Project “GIPST” has three main areas:

IDENTIFIKATION & INFORMATION

Der erste Arbeitsbereich hatte zum Ziel, mögliche Betroffene von Menschenhandel zum Zweck der sexuellen Ausbeutung in Zusammenarbeit mit der Polizei, dem Landeskriminalamt und Bundeskriminalamt an bisher unbekannten Orten zu identifizieren. Hierzu wurde ein detailliertes Mapping. Im Rahmen des Projektes geschah dies im Großraum Berlin, Hamburg und Stuttgart. Einige Grafiken sind zur Veranschaulichung hier zu sehen. Es wurden auch 18 Schulungen mit über 320 Mitarbeitenden von Geflüchtetenunterkünften durchgeführt, um sie über mögliche Indikatoren von Menschenhandel aufzuklären. Die Schulungsmaterialien werden von uns in Form von Broschüren und Bildpräsentationen in verschiedenen Sprachen kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt. Eine Verbreitung ist ausdrücklich willkommen!

IDENTIFICATION & INFORMATION (English)

The first area of work aimed to identify potential victims of human trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation at previously unknown locations in cooperation with local police, the State Criminal Police Office and the Federal Criminal Police Office. A detailed mapping was carried out for this purpose. Within the framework of the project, this took place in the greater Berlin, Hamburg and Stuttgart areas. Some graphics can be seen here for illustration. There were also 18 training sessions with more than 320 employees of refugee shelters to inform them about possible indicators of human trafficking. The training materials are available in various languages and free of charge. The materials  may be freely distributed.

"INTEGRATION"

Das entwickelte Integrationsprogramm "Kompass" soll Betroffenen von Menschenhandel und sexueller Ausbeutung die nötige Vorbereitung bieten, um am Arbeitsleben teilnehmen zu können. Bisher liegt das Problem häufig bei den fehlenden Voraussetzungen: Gute Deutschkenntnisse, abgeschlossene Ausbildung, Word/Excel müssen beherrscht werden…usw.
Um diese Hindernisse auszuräumen, bieten wir ein kostenloses, individuell anpassbares Handbuch an, das von Organisationen und Beratungsstellen durchgeführt werden kann, um die Betroffenen fit zu machen für den Job, den sie gerne ausführen würden. Zu den Inhalten des Programmes gehören eine Neuorientierung durch Mentoring, Erlernen und Vertiefen von Alltagskompetenzen. Damit soll den Betroffenen der Einstieg ins normale Arbeitsleben erleichtert werden.

Das Handbuch ist auf Deutsch, Englisch und in Teilen auf Bulgarisch hier kostenlos erhältlich: „Materialien“.

INTEGRATION (English)

The „Kompass“ integration programme has been developed to provide victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation with the necessary preparation to participate in working life. So far, the problem has often been the lack of prerequisites: Good knowledge of German, completed training, Word/Excel must be mastered…etc.
In order to overcome these obstacles, we offer a free, individually adaptable handbook that can be carried out by organisations and counselling centres in order to prepare those affected for the job they would like to do. The contents of the programme include reorientation through mentoring, learning and deepening everyday skills. This is intended to make it easier for those affected to enter normal working life.

The handbook is available free of charge in German, English and in parts in Bulgarian here: „Training Materials“.

Sollten Sie als Organisation oder Beratungsstelle eine Betroffene von Menschenhandel und/oder sexueller Ausbeutung betreuen, die gerne in ihr Heimatland zurückkehren möchte, finden Sie hier ein Handout zur freiwilligen Rückkehr.

Hier finden Sie außerdem eine Broschüre über die Herkunftsländer, um die Kulturen der Frauen, mit denen wir arbeiten, besser zu verstehen.

Ermöglichen Sie als Arbeitgeber Betroffenen von Menschenhandel den Weg in ein neues Leben durch ein 3-wöchiges Praktikum oder ein niederschwelliges Jobangebot.

Durch das Angebot eines Praktikumsplatzes haben kleine und große Unternehmen die Chance, diesen Menschen eine Plattform zu bieten, damit sie sich ausprobieren und das Gelernte in die Tat umsetzen können. Durch ein Jobangebot können Betroffene von Menschenhandel langfristig ihren Lebensunterhalt sichern.

Materials for Employers

By offering three-week internships or low-threshold jobs, employers can assist survivors of human trafficking in making a new life for themselves.

Through these internships, small and large businesses have an opportunity to offer survivors a platform from which they can try out a new career and put into practice all of the skills they have learned during the program. With an offer of employment, survivors are able to secure their long term livlihoods.

Rückblick: Konferenz / View back: Conference

Unsere Auftakt-Konferenz fand im April 2017 statt

Die acht Partnerorganisationen aus Deutschland und Bulgarien luden ein. Die Auftaktveranstaltung richtete sich an:

  • Institutionen, Organisationen, Initiativen und Fachberatungsstellen, die Kontakt zu Betroffenen von Menschenhandel haben
  • Asyleinrichtungen, die mehr zum Thema Menschenhandel erfahren möchten, um Asylbewerber informieren und schützen zu können
  • Unternehmer und Firmen, für die unternehmerische Gesellschaftsverantwortung (CSR = Corporate Social Responsibility) sehr wichtig ist und die sich über Möglichkeiten, Betroffene zu beschäftigen, informieren möchten
  • alle Interessierten

Our kick-off conference was on April 2017

The eight partner organizations from Germany and Bulgaria invited to Berlin. The Opening Conference was an event for:

  • Institutions, organizations, initiatives and counseling centers in contact with survivors of trafficking;
  • Employees and volunteers at refugee centers wishing to learn more about human trafficking as well as how they can help inform and protect asylum seekers;
  • Entrepreneurs and businesses requiring more information on offering survivors of trafficking employment, an internship or on the job training, as part of their CSR commitment;
  • Other interested persons.
